Large Blackamoor figural lamp by Frederick Cooper, circa 1960. The heavy base is made of gilded and painted plaster over a wire frame in the form of an exotic male figure in 18th century attire carrying a cornucopia. The finial is a gilded wood ball. The name Frederick Cooper is inscribed on the base. The original wiring is in working condition with a three-way socket and a separate on/off button at the back of the base. It measures 42″H to top of socket and 52″H to top of finial. Minimal age wear to the painted finish. This sale does not include a shade.
