Ming Side Chairs with Leather Seats



A unique pair of mid-20th Century Chinese Ming-style occasional chairs with fretwork and leather seats. They feature gently curved crest rails, carved back splats with pierced fretwork, fretwork aprons, Ming-style front legs and beautifully aged leather seats. The elm frames are very sturdy with minor nicks from age and use. Made by Whitlock’s Good Chair Co., Rising Sun, Indiana circa 1950. Seat height is 18″ H.
